About Michelle
Hi, I’m Michelle Salinas, a bilingual (English & Spanish) Registered Dietitian with years of experience working with individuals managing disease such as chronic kidney disease (CKD), pre-diabetes, heart health, exercise, and weight loss. I understand the cultural significance of food especially in Latin communities, and I help clients improve their health without giving up the flavors and traditions they love. My goal is to support you in creating lasting, realistic habits that honor both your health and your culture.
Approach to care
My care is personalized, compassionate, and culturally aware. I take time to understand your background, values, and lifestyle so that our work together feels relevant and sustainable. Whether we’re navigating lab values for heart health or breaking free from yo-yo dieting, I use evidence-based strategies and meet you where you are. I’m here to guide you not judge you, so you can feel confident making choices that support your long-term health.
Your first session with Michelle
In our first session, we’ll dive into your health history, eating habits, lifestyle, and goals. If you have recent labs or medical information, we’ll review those too. I’ll ask questions, listen closely, and work with you to build a plan that feels practical, culturally appropriate, and supportive of your daily routine. You'll walk away with clear action steps and a partner in your journey.
