About Michelle

I am committed to living a healthy and balanced lifestyle; body, mind, and spirit. I believe in taking small steps to achieve the larger goal. I encourage progress, not perfection. I take a mindful approach to diet and include a variety of foods from all food groups. I enjoy creating healthy recipes using whole unprocessed ingredients and believe that there is room for the occasional sweet treat.

Approach to care

Each client will be carefully evaluated and a personalized evidence based meal plan will be formulated that coincides with a client's individual lifestyle and specific needs. We will work together to determine any obstacles, create realistic, sustainable health goals, and aim together to achieve them.

Your first session with Michelle

At your first session I will review your current diet habits, food preferences and restrictions, medical history, lab data, and physical activity. I will evaluate your height, weight, and BMI. Based on your specific needs I will review macronutrients, micronutrients, meal patterns, portion control, and reading food labels. We will identify any potential barriers to healthy eating and discuss strategies to overcome them. A personalized meal plan with corresponding handouts will be provided. A exercise plan will be initiated based on your level of fitness. Specific goals will be created. I will summarize key points discussed during the session, and address any questions.
