About Michelle
Michelle has been a Registered Dietitian for nearly 5 years. After struggling with her weight, body and food choices for years, she navigated mindset shifts to adopt healthier and happier nutrition practices. Michelle emphasizes breaking rules and diet norms and highlighting science-backed knowledge and empowerment. Michelle works with a broad spectrum of patients to achieve success in weight loss, weight gain, pregnancy, and exercise-specific nutrition alongside treatment of gastrointestinal disorders (IBS/IBD, GERD, Crohn's, UC) and disordered eating. Additionally, she has experience with pediatric approaches to many of these conditions.
Approach to care
Michelle became a dietitian because she loves food. Her approach centers around helping you successfully eat the foods you love too. There is no-one-size-fits all approach to nutrition or health, so she strives to work with the patient to meet their goals (no matter how big or small) with an individualized plan that focuses on mini-actions. Michelle's mission is to make food work for you and your lifestyle, not the other way around!
Your first session with Michelle
Most of the first session will be listening. In order to understand how to individualize your care plan, I need to know YOU. The first session will yield a few mini actions to get the ball rolling, but will largely be focused on your previous experiences and determining your motivations.
