About Michelle

Michelle (she/her) is a pediatric dietitian with a genuine passion for helping children and families build confidence and joy around food. She currently works with Nourish providing virtual pediatric nutrition care, and also practices in both the NICU and pediatric unit at a hospital in Utah. In addition, Michelle works in a Pediatric Rehabilitation Feeding Clinic, where she supports children and caregivers through a wide range of feeding challenges. Michelle has experience working with picky eating, food exploration, feeding difficulties, tube feedings, ARFID, gut health concerns, and supporting infants and children as they grow and thrive. She takes pride in meeting families where they are and helping them feel supported, informed, and empowered every step of the way.

Approach to care

Michelle uses a patient- and family-centered approach that is tailored to your lifestyle, values, and main concerns. She values individual preferences, cultural diversity, and alternative perspectives on health. Michelle prioritizes active listening and works to truly understand each family’s unique needs, goals, and challenges in order to create realistic, supportive nutrition plans.

Your first session with Michelle

Michelle understands that meeting a new provider—especially virtually—can feel intimidating. She strives to make your first session as comfortable and welcoming as possible. While the initial visit may include a lot of questions (mostly to get to know you and your child better), you can also expect a caring, passionate, and occasionally silly dietitian who truly wants to support you and your family.
