About Mikaela

Mikaela is an experienced masters level dietitian who has worked in all levels of eating disorder care since 2020. She also comes from a background of athletic performance being a competitive soccer player through her adolescence and playing at the division I collegiate level. Mikaela works with adults and adolescents 13 years and older. She is licensed in the states of Washington, New Mexico, and Texas.

Approach to care

She works alongside her clients in partnering against the many challenges of diet culture and eating disorders by helping people find more flexibility and joy with their relationship with food and their bodies. Mikaela treats each individual with compassion and kindness and works to meet them exactly where they are at knowing how we engage with food and our bodies is not a one size fits all journey. She aids people in challenging eating disorders and performance nutrition through an all foods fit and weight neutral lens and uses principles of health at every size (HAES), intuitive eating, and other approaches to meet their needs.

Your first session with Mikaela

In your first session with Mikaela you can expect to spend a majority of the time exploring what your relationship with food and your body has historically looked like, what is currently going on, and setting goals around what you want to work towards in the future.
