About Mikayla
Hi! I’m Dr. Mikayla Fetterhoff, a licensed dietitian nutritionist committed to helping you navigate the often confusing world of nutrition with clarity and confidence. My personal health challenges and experience as a competitive athlete shaped my understanding of how impactful nutrition can be. I strive to provide supportive, personalized care that helps you take charge of your health and achieve your goals, no matter where you’re starting from.
Approach to care
I believe every person has a unique story, and nutrition care should reflect that. My approach is compassionate, personalized, and collaborative. I focus on cutting through the noise of nutrition misinformation and tailoring realistic, sustainable strategies to meet your specific needs and goals. Whether you’re managing a chronic condition, working toward optimal health, or simply looking for guidance in your nutrition journey, I aim to provide the support and knowledge you need to succeed.
Your first session with Mikayla
During our first session, we’ll take time to explore your health history, lifestyle, and nutrition goals. My goal is to make you feel heard and understood while creating a welcoming and judgment-free space. Together, we’ll identify areas to focus on and develop an actionable plan that feels practical and achievable. You’ll leave with your questions answered, a clear sense of direction, and renewed motivation to take charge of your health.

Hobbies
Aside from learning anything and everything about nutrition and science topics, I have a passion for crafting and creating, whether it’s drawing, painting, or turning my artwork into stickers and cards to spread a little joy. I’m always eager to learn new arts and crafts, like crocheting, and I have a special place in my heart for the culinary arts. I love cooking and creating new recipes, but baking is my true love—especially when it comes to crafting fine pastries and decorating cakes. Outside of crafting and baking, I enjoy playing soccer, spending time outdoors during the summer (Wisconsin winters, not so much!), and being around animals. My biggest hobby, however, is dedicating an arguably excessive amount of time to loving and interacting with my two free-range rabbits—they always keep me entertained!
