About Miley
Hi there! My name is Miley Nguyen, a licensed Registered Dietitian with a strong background in functional medicine. I’ve always had a deep passion for food, but it wasn’t until I personally struggled with malnutrition and hormonal health issues that I truly realized the healing power of nutrition. Over the years, I’ve discovered that the best way to heal and nourish your body—because food is medicine. I’ve had the privilege of working with many patients who’ve successfully overcome gut issues, balanced their hormones, and improved their weight management by understanding how their blood sugar affects their bodies.
Approach to care
The truth is, nutrition isn’t one-size-fits-all—it’s personalized based on your health concerns and how your body responds to food. My goal is to help you understand what’s in the food you’re eating, read ingredients in food packages, how it’s made, and most importantly, how to choose and prepare nutrient-dense foods—like animal-based protein, fruits, and vegetables—in a way that’s digestible and effective for your body. I also teach you how to eat based on your blood sugar levels for better energy and long-term health. I make sure that learning about nutrition is effective, fun, and creative! I’m all about making sustainable, enjoyable changes to your diet that you can maintain for life.

During our initial session together, my primary goal is to get to know you on a personal level and understand your unique relationship with food. We'll explore your food preferences, likes, dislikes, and any dietary concerns you may have. Together, we'll delve into your health history to gain a comprehensive understanding of your current health status and any challenges you may be facing. I'm here to listen to your goals and expectations for our partnership, ensuring that our nutritional plan aligns perfectly with your aspirations for a healthier, happier life.
