About Miranda
I completed my Master degree in Public Health Nutrition and combined dietetic internship at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. During my training, I completed coursework and clinical hours in Maternal and Developmental Nutrition. For my entire career, I have worked in the treatment of disordered eating and eating disorders for all ages at all levels of care. I work to empower patients and families improve their relationship with food and improve their quality of life.
Approach to care
My approach to care is adaptive to each patient or family and their specific goals and symptoms. I aim to work closely with other providers on your team to ensure that we are working together for you. Depending on what you want to accomplish through seeing a Registered Dietitian, I can individually focus each session to provide counseling and education and empower you to make changes that improve your symptoms and quality of life. I am a HAES (Health at Every Size) aligned provider and believe in meeting patients and families where they are at and focusing on what matters to you.
Your first session with Miranda
Your first session will focus on getting to know you and answering your questions about treatment and working with a Registered Dietitian. The first session will comprise of a comprehensive nutrition assessment to discuss your relationship with food, your typical eating patterns, and exploring your medical and family history. Remember, there are no quick fixes fixes in Nutrition. Together we will set goals to support you on your journey to improving your health.
