Patient reviews
βI canβt say enough good things about Miriam. She is the first dietician who really listened to my goals and made everything feel manageable instead of overwhelming. Her guidance is practical, thoughtful, and completely tailored to my life. She never pushes a one size fits all plan and she actually explains the why behind her recommendations, which makes it so much easier to stay consistent. β

βAmazing knowledge and personality, as well as making it a judgment free zoneβ
βdietitian was friendly and clear about boundaries and goals. She made me comfortable, and has the same mindset about nutrition as I doβ
About Miriam
Hi, I'm Miriam! With 17 years as a Registered Dietitian, Iβve supported patients in a variety of outpatient clinical settings, including telehealth, dialysis facilities, and OB-GYN practices. I bring a practical, compassionate approach that blends science with everyday life. When Iβm not helping clients, youβll find me in the kitchen cooking and baking, reading non-fiction, exercising, or enjoying time with my family and my dog.
Approach to care
My care philosophy centers on evidence-based practice, empathy, and partnership. I combine current research with practical strategies, and I walk with you as we translate science into daily choices. To me, nutrition is all about balance. We'll keep the focus on your values, pace, and long-term change, not deprivation. I practice Health At Every Size and a non-diet, all-foods-can-fit approach, aiming to reduce stress around eating and help you live well with food you love. Together we will build skills, track progress, and adjust as your life evolves, always with warmth and respect, and importantly, without judgement.
Your first session with Miriam
Think of our first visit as a conversation. We'll review your medical history, current routines, and the flavors of your day-to-day life that influence nutrition. You'll help me learn about your lifestyle, schedule, preferences, and the foods you enjoy or avoid. We don't need to have everything figured out at the first visit; my goal is to create a warm, judgment-free space where we collaborate. By the end, we'll have a clear sense of where to start and a couple of realistic next steps to support your health journey.
