About Miriam
Hi! I'm Miriam. I've been a registered dietitian for over 15 years, serving a variety of patients from young adults to the elderly, including pregnant women. I have worked extensively with people with chronic kidney disease, diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease, and helped patients manage their weight in the context of treating specific medical conditions and improving their overall health. Outside of work, I'm an avid cook and bread baker, mom, dog lover, and voracious reader.
Approach to care
My passion is helping you achieve your health goals while still including foods you love in your life. I follow a non-diet, all-foods-can-fit approach to nutrition. My goal is to help you stress less about what you eat.
Your first session with Miriam
We will spend time discussing what you are hoping to gain from meeting with a dietitian. We will talk about your related medical history, including any previous nutritional counseling, relevant blood work or other tests. We will also set a couple short-term goals to start.
