About Misha
Misha has been a Registered Dietitian since 2008 and a Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist since 2013. She has experience in various clinical settings including weight management, diabetes/ endocrinology, bariatric surgery, and fitness facilities. She loves helping her patients set realistic goals, develop sustainable habits, and gain confidence in their ability to maintain optimal nutrition and health lifelong!
Approach to care
Misha promotes an individualized and realistic approach to nutrition and wellness, recognizing all foods can fit, and focusing on the 'progression, not perfection' mentality when it comes to nutrition. Her approach is patient-centered, evidence-based, and judgement-free. Small steps and small changes amount to big results with a little time, dedication, and support (especially from your Nourish dietitian!).
Your first session with Misha
During your first session, Misha will be interested in learning more about your health history, including recent labs, food allergies/ intolerances, and medical conditions. She will ask about your current food intake and food preferences as well as what your specific goals are for the session. Together, you will develop a plan that is geared towards improving your health and nutrition all while keeping in mind your lifestyle, food preferences, budget, etc. She will allow time for you to ask questions and make sure you are comfortable and confident with the nutrition plan moving forward.
