About Misty
I have been a dietitian for over 18 years. I am also a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. Currently I am also pursing my Master's degree in Medical Nutrition through Arizona State University. I live in Northeastern Pennsylvania, I am married and have a 15 year old son and identical twin 6 year old girls. My hobbies include running, hiking, skiing and listening to crime podcasts.
Approach to care
My approach to care is personalized nutrition. It is important to me to understand a person's goals and work with them to achieve those goals. I feel that it is important to understand how food and nutrients affect us and to create a positive relationship with food.
Your first session with Misty
I like to get to know your habits and normal activities and intake. I want to know what is important to you, what has not worked in the past and what your goals are. I will work with you to create a personalized nutrition plan to achieve and maintain your health goals.
