About MK
Hi, I'm MK, a Registered Dietitian based in Boston. I've spent eight years helping people use food to feel better, across hospital and clinical settings, private practice, corporate wellness, community health, sports nutrition, and mental health settings. I earned my nutrition degree at Simmons University and studied business marketing at Bentley University. I'm proud to hold the LD, RD, and LDN credentials. When I'm not seeing clients, you'll find me in a hockey rink or on a lacrosse field watching my 3 sons play sports. In the rare event that I have time to myself, I enjoy baking, lifting, walking or running, organizing, and solving puzzles. I love translating nutrition science into practical, everyday tips that fit your life.
Approach to care
I ground my care in current evidence and a warm, nonjudgmental stance. We'll rely on up-to-date science to guide decisions, while you bring your values and life context. Together we'll translate research into clear, practical steps that fit your schedule. I practice with a Health at Every Size mindset and a holistic view that includes sleep, stress, movement, and your relationship with food, not just meals. We'll focus on lasting habits, celebrate small wins, and avoid diets or rigid rules. Education empowers you to decide what works best for you, now and long term.
Your first session with MK
Our first appointment is all about you. We'll start by reviewing your medical history, current schedule, and relationship with food in a warm, nonjudgmental space. There's no need to have it all figured out before we meet; we'll explore your goals, concerns, and what a comfortable pace feels like. Together we'll establish short-term goals and a practical plan you can begin this week. You'll leave with a clear sense of what to expect next and a realistic next step that fits your life.
