Hi! I'm Morgan. I'm so glad you landed here! I often get asked why I became a dietitian and my answer is short and sweet: I want to empower people to change their lives with simple nutrition. Nutrition changes are not easy, but together we can make it simple and customized for you - never any "one size fits all" approach here! Through my work at Nourish, I have discovered my passion lies in this setting where I get to be an invested partner in you finding health and happiness on your time, and in your way. Approach to care
I am a weight-neutral care provider, and my practice philosophy is rooted in intuitive eating principles. Being a Health At Every Size (HAES) and weight-neutral provider means that I believes weight is not the determinant for health, and sustainable life change starts by looking at you as a WHOLE person. Health is not just about weight! I like to dig deeper and work on all areas of health and wellbeing. This approach makes room for other facets of health at the (proverbial) table. I will provide compassionate care and empathy, while emphasizing nutrition expertise and evidence-based approach to interventions. I aim to help you understand the "why", not just give you a "to-do" list!
Your first session with Morgan
I want to get to know you! You are a whole person outside of your nutrition goals and struggles. I invest time to understand and explore diet/weight history, family history, current habits surrounding sleep, eating, work, stress, hydration, and exercising. I will provide evidence based recommendations, while honoring more holistic and personal preferences. Together you can expect to start creating an individualized nutrition plan that keeps your health and wellness priorities at the forefront of your goals. While I am here to help you in this venture, you are ultimately the driver of change.
