About Morgan
Food has always felt like a bridge between science and everyday life. I became a dietitian in 2021 and bring five years of experience as a Registered Dietitian, supported by an MS in Clinical Nutrition from East Tennessee State University and clinical hospital experience. I enjoy turning evidence into realistic plans for people managing diabetes, heart disease, geriatrics, bariatrics, and general health and weight maintenance. Outside of work you'll find me hiking, biking, running, practicing Pilates, cooking, or curled up with a book alongside my three sons. I want to build a meaningful relationship so we can work together on goals that matter beyond a number on the scale.
Approach to care
Science informs everything I recommend, but your life shapes how we put that science into action. I use evidence-based guidance while keeping conversations warm and judgment-free, so you'll feel heard and supported. We'll work together to create clear, practical steps that are achievable and sustainable. I focus on health beyond the scale, considering mental, emotional, and physical factors, and I aim to teach you skills and understanding so you can make confident choices long term.
Your first session with Morgan
We'll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you have, and together we'll set a couple of realistic short-term goals to get started. The visit is low pressure and judgment-free, designed to learn where you're starting from and what feels manageable. We'll leave with practical next steps you can try, and a plan to adjust as we go, so progress feels steady and sustainable.
