About Naomi

With over a decade of dedicated experience in dietetics and medical nutrition therapy, I work closely with individuals managing chronic conditions to achieve sustainable health outcomes through personalized, evidence-based nutrition interventions. I proudly served for eight years as a Dietitian Naval Officer, leading both active-duty and civilian personnel. My military experience shaped my adaptability, leadership, and ability to deliver high-quality care under unique circumstances. I’m passionate about health, fitness, and helping others—and I bring that energy and authenticity into every professional setting.

Approach to care

I hope you find our sessions to be supportive and a safe, positive space where you can speak freely without judgment. My approach is deeply rooted in behavior change—understanding the motivations, thoughts, and feelings that influence how we eat. We’ll move away from calorie counting and strict dieting, and instead focus on sustainable habits that support your overall wellbeing. While your mood and self-worth should not be determined by a number on the scale, I am happy to provide detailed macronutrient information if you would like it. My goal is to provide you with evidence-based information and tools so you can build confidence, develop a healthy relationship with food, and practice true autonomy in your choices.

Your first session with Naomi

Let’s get to know each other! Our first session will last up to an hour, giving us the time we need to build a strong foundation for your nutrition journey. I want to leave plenty of time to talk about your health history, any medications you're taking, recent lab results (if you have them), your eating and lifestyle habits, and any food preferences or cultural traditions that are important to you. We’ll also talk about your goals whether big or small, and start building a plan that feels doable and personalized. My goal is for you to leave with a few clear, simple steps you can start right away and a good idea of what to expect moving forward. Together we’ll identify realistic, meaningful goals and begin creating a plan we can build on over time. You’ll leave with clear expectations and a few simple, personalized steps you can start right away.

Hobbies

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll often find me on my smart bike taking live and on-demand fitness classes nearly every day, strength training 3–4 times weekly, enjoying open-air adventures in my Jeep with the doors off, or spending magical time with my family at Disney World using our season passes.
