About Natalie
I have been a registered dietitian for over 25 years. I have work experience in a variety of settings hospital, dialysis units and community nutrition programs. For this platform, I am interested in working with clients for wellness and prevention of chronic disease which includes high blood pressure, kidney disease, diabetes, and weight loss management. I became a dietitian because I enjoy food and I believe all foods can fit. Of course, within reason. Food enables people to connect with each other. It is a vital part of living.
Approach to care
My approach to care is tailored to the individual. I think it is important to consider food resources, food tolerances, food preferences, lifestyle, culture, and activity level. As people we are all different. It's important to create a realistic goal with a doable plan that you are comfortable with. The key is to make a lifestyle change that can go the distance.
