About Nathan

Hi, I’m Nathan. I’ve spent twenty years as a Registered Dietitian and LD, with a BS in Dietetics from Ball State University. My work has taken me through sports nutrition and clinical hospital settings, where I learned that real change happens when science meets everyday life. I love turning research into practical meal plans, workouts, and small habits you can actually sustain. Outside work I enjoy running, cooking, meal planning, and cheering on family and friends through sports and life.

Approach to care

My care philosophy blends evidence with warmth and collaboration. I stay grounded in current research and trusted protocols, but I meet you with empathy, curiosity, and no judgment. We’ll translate science into clear, doable steps and practical strategies that fit your life. I favor a Health At Every Size approach and a behavior-focused mindset, because lasting health comes from sustainable habits rather than quick fixes. We’ll educate together, exploring sleep, stress, and your relationship with food so you feel informed and empowered.

Your first session with Nathan

Our first appointment is all about you. We'll review your medical history and any recent lab work or biometrics, so we understand your starting point. Together we’ll establish short-term goals that feel meaningful and achievable. We’ll take a deep dive into your relationship with food, identifying patterns and triggers, always in a nonjudgmental space. By the end, we’ll create a practical meal plan and a clear next step tailored to your schedule, preferences, and lifestyle. No pressure, just support, and plenty of encouragement as we begin this journey.
