About Nathan
I am a registered dietitian who brings years of personal experience focusing on my own mental and physical performance to make nutrition changes more achievable and realistic. I have robust inpatient clinical experience providing nutrition assessments, nutrition support, and lab guided care for a variety of conditions within adult populations. I have a special interest in how nutrition supports hormone health, metabolic health, and physical performance, and I enjoy working with a wide range of patients, whether we are navigating chronic conditions, building healthier habits, or simply working toward more day to day energy. Each person is treated as an individual, not a diagnosis or a number, and I use evidence based nutrition to create flexible plans that are tailored to you and your goals.
Approach to care
I know personal goals around nutrition can feel like an uphill battle at times. My approach is collaborative, team‑based approach to nutrition care and I view our work together as a partnership centered on your goals. I focus on sustainable behavior change and use evidence-based medical nutrition therapy, collaborating with your other providers when appropriate so your care stays coordinated and up to date. I actively welcome feedback as a provider and see it as essential to my growth, as I am always striving to improve in all areas of my life. I am focused on meaningful outcomes and use your symptoms, lab data, and personal priorities to guide our plan and make thoughtful adjustments over time.
Your first session with Nathan
In our first session, I’ll briefly introduce myself and give us time to get to know each other and discuss your goals and what you’d like support with. We’ll confirm your paperwork is complete, including your release of information and primary care provider details, so your care can be coordinated. From there, we’ll complete a nutrition assessment where you walk me through a typical day (meals, snacks, movement, work, and life demands) so I can understand your routines and what realistically fits your lifestyle. Together, we’ll identify 2 to 3 initial goals that feel achievable to you, and you’ll leave with a clear plan for what to focus on between visits.
