About Nemesis

Hi, I’m Nemesis, a bilingual (English/Spanish) Registered Dietitian with a passion for helping individuals reconnect with food in a nourishing, sustainable, and culturally meaningful way. I hold a Master’s in Nutrition and Dietetics from Hunter College, and my professional background includes outpatient counseling, community education, and clinical nutrition. I’ve worked with people managing chronic illnesses, navigating behavioral health challenges, overcoming food insecurity, and simply trying to feel better in their daily lives. When I'm not working with clients, you’ll find me in the garden practicing my homesteading skills, learning more about herbalism, strength training, cycling, or exploring Ayurvedic wellness practices. I believe food is not just about health; it’s about joy, culture, healing, and connection. My goal is to create a safe, inclusive space where we can explore what nourishment looks like for you.

Approach to care

Approach to care: Client-Centered: Your story, your preferences, and your goals guide everything we do Culturally Sensitive: We’ll honor your traditions and lived experiences without trying to change who you are Weight-Inclusive & Trauma-Informed: I focus on health-promoting behaviors, not weight or restriction Accessible & Realistic: I provide practical strategies that work for your budget, time, and environment Empowerment-Focused: I’m here to support you, not lecture you, nutrition should feel liberating, not limiting Whether we’re managing a chronic condition, building a healthier relationship with food, or learning how to nourish yourself on a tight budget, I’m here to walk with you, not ahead of you.

Your first session with Nemesis

In your first session its designed to be a welcoming, pressure-free space where we’ll: Explore your current eating habits, lifestyle, and health concerns Talk through any medical diagnoses, symptoms, or lab results Discuss your goals and what you want to get out of nutrition counseling Look at your relationship with food; what’s working, what’s not, and what’s important to you Start outlining a personalized plan that feels manageable, flexible, and aligned with your values You'll leave with some initial strategies, and together we’ll decide on next steps based on your comfort and readiness.
