About Niara
Hi, I'm Niara. I'm a Registered Dietitian with 11 years of experience and an MS in Nutritional Science. My clinical work has shaped my belief that science and kindness belong together. Outside of work, you’ll find me baking with my kids, cheering at sports events, hitting the gym, or planning a beach trip and a new destination. I’m here to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered to make small, lasting changes that fit your life.
Approach to care
My care philosophy is collaborative and evidence based. I ground every plan in current science while staying empathetic and warm, so you feel heard and supported. We’ll translate research into clear, doable steps with accountability and sustainability at the fore. I practice a weight-neutral, Health At Every Size (HAES) approach, focusing on behaviors and well being rather than a number. We look at sleep, stress, and your relationship with food, and I aim to educate you so you can carry these skills forward.
Your first session with Niara
Our first appointment is all about you. We'll review your medical history, labs, and your relationship with food, and we’ll dive into what you hope to achieve. You don’t need to have it all figured out yet — just share what feels true for you. We’ll set 1 or 2 small but meaningful goals and outline practical steps to start this week. The session is low pressure, collaborative, and free of judgment, built to help you feel seen and supported.
