About Nicole
Hi, I'm Nicole, a Registered Dietitian from Boston but based in Lincoln, Nebraska. I hold an MS with a Dietetic Internship from Boston University, along with credentials like LMNT, LDN, RDN, CSSD that reflect my ongoing commitment to the field. Past experiences with private practice, eating disorders, sports nutrition (high school, D1 and professional), and college food service has shaped a practical, evidence-based approach for realistic life challenges. In my spare time I love traveling, running, cooking, attending concerts, and chasing the best Italian food. I aim to keep care warm, approachable, and educational.
Approach to care
My care philosophy is to partner with you for lasting change that is individualized to your current challenges around food and exercise. I ground every plan in current science, yet tailor it to your life, values, and voice. Together we'll translate knowledge into doable steps, with clear actions and regular check ins. Food carries emotional, mental, and social aspects that we can discuss together to improve your relationship with food. Whether you are an athlete, active individual, emotional eater, on GLP1, or have food allergies, when we have a solid baseline around our relationship with food, then we can build on more specific goals. Here are some questions to ask yourself to get started: Are you feeling your hunger cues? Are you able to feel your fullness? What does that feel like? I aim to empower you with understanding so you can make sustainable choices that feel manageable.
Your first session with Nicole
Our first appointment is all about you. We'll review your medical history and dive into your relationship with food, daily routines, and goals. We'll share evidence-informed ideas in a practical way, and we will co-create a short-term plan that fits your schedule. You do not need to arrive with every answer; the session is judgment-free and collaborative. By the end, we'll set 1 to 2 actionable goals to start with and outline what comes next all through behavior change tactics.
