About Nicole
Hi, I'm Nicole. I am a Registered Dietitian with 25 years of experience and a Masters in nutrition science. My career spans clinical and hospital settings, private practice, corporate wellness, and community health. I spent 20 years offering outpatient consulting and workshops for Kaiser Permanente and served as a Clinical Educator in cardiology practices using advanced lipid testing. I hold the postnominals RDN and RD, and I specialize in weight management including bariatrics, along with diabetes, heart health, GI disease, nephrology, and cancer care. Outside of work, I love tennis, arts and crafts, hiking, and tackling crossword puzzles.
Approach to care
My care philosophy is evidence based, empathetic, and educational. I stay current with science to guide every plan, and I meet you where you are with a warm, nonjudgmental approach. We'll work together to build lasting habits that fit your life, embracing a Health At Every Size lens that focuses on behavior and well being rather than diet culture. I take a holistic view, considering sleep, stress, movement, digestion, and mental health as part of your overall health. Together, we’ll create sustainable change.
Your first session with Nicole
Our first appointment is all about you. We'll review your medical history, labs or biometrics, and your short and long term goals. We'll talk about your routine food and beverage intake on weekdays and weekends, exercise habits, stress, and sleep, and we’ll consider blood sugar if applicable. I’ll help you set 1–2 realistic short term goals, and we’ll map out practical steps to start. No pressure, no perfect plan required; we’re in this together, at a pace that fits your life.
