About Nicole

Hi, I'm Nikki! When I was a senior in high school I was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I changed up my diet and noticed how much better I was feeling overall and then saw an improvement in my own performance as an athlete. I chose to pursue a career in Nutrition once I realized I could help others feel like their best selves just as I had. I've been a Registered Dietitian now for about 8.5 years and have worked in various fields including clinical nutrition out of hospitals and long-term care facilities, outpatient oncology, campus health and wellness and sports nutrition.

Approach to care

I take a collaborative approach to care and listen to you so that I can work with you where you are at to help you achieve your goals. I will teach you along the way and hope to empower you so that you will feel confident making your own choices around nutrition and navigating any barriers that may come up. I believe there are no "good" or "bad" foods and practice from the lens of health at every size.

Your first session with Nicole

I will take the time to get to know you better and learn more about your health, wellness and performance goals. We will talk more about your past medical history, current lifestyle behaviors, what your goals mean to you, relationship with food and body image and work together to get you to where you want to be.

Masters in Sports Nutrition from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs • Masters in Nutrition from CUNY Lehman College • Bachelors in Dietetics with a Minor in Health and Fitness from SUNY College at Oneonta.

Hobbies

Hiking, reading, skiing, running, traveling! Fun fact, I completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in Bali, Indoenisa in March 2024!
