About Nicole
I hold a bachelors degree in nutrition and dietetics from Queen's College as well as a bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology from Farmingdale State College. I live on Long Island, NY with my husband, and our baby girl. In my free time, I love to cook, bake, exercise and spend time with my family.
Approach to care
I support healthy eating in the context of sustainability and practicality. I believe that a healthy relationship with food is true freedom because it eliminates the "good" versus "bad" ideology. My goal is to take you back to the roots of healthy eating and sort through all of the fad diets and weight loss myths so that you can both look and feel good each and every day! Empathy is one of my personal strengths and I can truly feel the emotions of others as if they are my own. Therefore, when we create your goals, we are in this together, every step of the way.
Your first session with Nicole
Our first session will mainly consist of me getting to know you. I want to know what your nutrition goals are, your background with any weight loss approaches in the past, why it is important for you to change now, as well as your daily routines. Generally, I will recommend that we meet weekly for the first few weeks just to help you get the momentum going and feel more comfortable and confident with your plan.
