About Nicole

Hi, I'm Nicole, a Registered Dietitian based in Detroit, Michigan. I have 3 years of experience in clinical and hospital settings, and I also worked in community health. I earned my Bachelor's in Nutrition and Food Science from Wayne State University, and I approach nutrition with warmth, curiosity, and a practical mindset. When I am not helping clients, you will find me embroidering, cooking, swimming, traveling, reading, or spending time with family and friends. I'd love getting to know your story with food and partnering with you to build sustainable, meaningful changes that will allow for optimal quality of life.

Approach to care

My care philosophy is collaborative and grounded in science, compassion, and real life. I rely on current evidence to guide our plan, but I listen first to your experiences, beliefs, and goals. I am empathetic and warm, and I will meet you where you are without judgement. We'll set clear, actionable steps and I will track progress together with you, focusing on sustainable habits rather than quick fixes. I practice with a Health At Every Size (HAES) approach, honoring your body and prioritizing behaviors that support wellbeing, sleep, movement, and mood.

Your first session with Nicole

Our first appointment is all about you, and I want you to know I am here to listen. I will review your medical history and any lab work. Together, we will discuss your relationship with food, current lifestyle and routine and I will help you establish short-term goals that feel attainable and meaningful. You do not need to have everything figured out yet; I want to learn what matters most to you in this space. I will discuss practical steps you can start this week and help set a plan that respects your pace, preferences, and everyday life.
