About Nicole

Hi there! I'm Nicole, a Registered Dietitian who likes to live life to the fullest. I find joy in nutrition and movement, and I'm passionate about working with clients to find new ways in which these can better support their well-being. My motto is "enjoy your food - fuel for (fun)ction" because all food is fuel for a purpose, whether that's for the heart, mind or body. I have experience providing nutrition counselling for disordered eating, eating disorders, sports nutrition and more to folks from multiple backgrounds and walks of life. I'm invested in the nutrition care of my clients, and I'm here to help every step of the way.

Approach to care

I utilize an All Foods Fit philosophy first and foremost in my approach, which just means that no foods are off limits in a truly healthy lifestyle as all foods serve a function. We'll also explore ways to improve your relationship with food and body, including joyful movement and Intuitive Eating to foster interoceptive connection. I meet my clients where they're at, integrating CBT concepts and using motivational interviewing to support change. Finally, I strive to provide authentic nutrition care that's weight-inclusive, evidenced-based and trauma-informed.

Your first session with Nicole

When we log into our first session together, I'll provide a warm and inviting space so that we can get to know each other and discuss how to begin your personalized nutrition care. Our work is all about you, so we'll focus on what you identify as important and how you see yourself growing and improving through this process. I'll also spend time getting to know some specifics about your health including your history, current nutrition, lifestyle, identified needs and more. Using this information and your goals as our guide we'll create a unique, structured plan with actionable steps to start your journey.
