About Nicole
I'm a registered dietitian with a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Physical Performance. I take a whole-person approach that blends nutrition, physical activity, and psychology. My experience ranges from supporting newcomers to the gym all the way to working with Olympic-level athletes. I enjoy helping people build sustainable habits that align with their goals and lifestyle, whether that's improving performance, health, or their relationship with food and movement. Outside of nutrition counseling, I teach as an adjunct professor and coach volleyball.
Approach to care
Coaching starts with meeting an individual where they are in their journey, without expecting them to be further along. The focus is on building action plans that align with real life demands, including schedules, energy levels, and personal priorities. This allows for our approach to be more individualized and sustainable. Accountability and realistic expectations help create structure, but the process should also feel enjoyable and empowering. The goal is to build lasting confidence and self-efficacy, so progress continues long after the coaching ends. Also, I want you to build a positive relationship with self-care and to find it fun to invest in oneself!
Your first session with Nicole
The initial session is really just a conversation for us to get to know each other and get clear on what you're hoping to work toward. We'll dive into your nutrition background, your relationship with food, your body, and movement, and talk through anything medical that's relevant. It's less about jumping into changes right away and more about understanding the full picture so we can build something that actually works for you.
