Approach to care

I aim to seek understanding your lifestyle and values first. Are you struggling with adjustment to your diagnosis? I have lead countless support groups and can help with reframing your behaviors to move you forward. Once I understand your lifestyle: work schedule, exercise habits, eating attitude, etc. we can focus in on a plan to advance toward improving health and well being. I will analyze your BMI, Lab values, and nutritional status then give you an overall assessment to work on developing strategies to improve lifestyle. Sometimes it involves meal planning and menus, other times it involves sleep schedule, stress, or physical activity- every client has different needs. I can translate the current science and treatments for conditions, as I have very deep understanding of physiology, diabetes pathos and treatment, nutritional needs, and emotional adjustment.

Your first session with Nicole

First session is to gather clinical data and lifestyle information, get to know you and your values and goals. We make a plan for actions that can have the most impact on your health but behaviors that you can actually stick to. Then we decide when to meet again to assess what works and what needs improving.
