About Nina
Texas Tech University shaped my path, where I completed both my BS and MS before moving into clinical hospital work. I love hiking, cooking, working out, and generally being outdoors, and I bring that same curiosity and energy to nutrition counseling. I am passionate about helping people feel like the best version of themselves through sustainable, manageable changes we build together.
Approach to care
I blend current evidence with compassion, focusing on long-term habits rather than quick fixes. Using a Health At Every Size, weight-neutral lens, we'll explore behavior changes that respect your lived experience and mental and physical health. I aim to be direct and practical, offering clear, science-based steps while teaching you the why behind them. Together we'll prioritize sustainable routines that fit your life, with a warm, nonjudgmental space for growth.
Your first session with Nina
Expect a relaxed, thorough conversation where we go over lab work and other biometrics, review your medical history, and take a deep dive into your relationship with food. You do not need to have everything figured out. We'll listen to your story, identify what matters most to you, and set a couple of practical, achievable steps to start. The visit is collaborative and judgment-free, and my goal is to leave you feeling heard and clear about the next move.
