About Olivia
Hi, I'm Olivia! My journey into dietetics is deeply personal and professionally driven. You're not alone in your struggles—I too have experienced body dysmorphia, disordered eating, and challenges with body image. These experiences fuel my passion for helping others navigate their unique relationships with food, exercise, and self-acceptance. I firmly believe in meeting you where you are—understanding that while we are all unique, many of us share similar nutrition-related challenges. Whether it’s overcoming a history of chronic dieting, grappling with body image concerns, or seeking clarity on how nutrition and exercise can truly support your goals, I’m here to guide you every step of the way and help you reclaim your life back!
Approach to care
With advanced degrees in Diet and Exercise, I bring a strong academic foundation to my work and care. My professional background includes diverse settings, from hospitals to fitness centers, where I’ve honed my skills in medical nutrition therapy, motivational interviewing, patient education, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. I firmly believe in evidence-based practice and am committed to bringing you the most up-to-date nutrition research to guide our work together. My experience as a former collegiate athlete and personal trainer gives me a unique perspective on the physical and mental demands of performance, enabling me to connect authentically with my clients.
Your first session with Olivia
During our first session together, you can expect to feel heard and valued as we walk through getting to know each other and an introduction to nutrition counseling! My practice focuses on eating disorders, disordered eating, sports nutrition, and women’s health, and I embrace a HAES (Health At Every Size), anti-diet, and intuitive/mindful eating philosophy. Though these are my primary areas of focus, I also have a strong clinical background that enables me to provide effective outcomes for other medical nutrition therapy needs. Together, we’ll explore strategies that honor your individuality and foster sustainable, meaningful progress.
Education
Iowa State University - Bachelor of Science & Master of Science in Diet and Exercise, Tampa VA - Dietetic Internship
Hobbies
I love connecting with people over good food, movement, and a balanced approach to health. Whether it’s grabbing coffee at a cozy spot, exploring nature, or trying a new workout class, I believe in finding joy in everyday experiences. I also have a passion for travel and discovering new restaurants—because food should be both nourishing and enjoyable!
