Hi! I’m a Registered Dietitian based in Knoxville, TN. I currently work as a clinical RD on the surgical and nephrology units at a local hospital, where I support patients with a wide range of medical and nutrition needs. I also have experience in nutrition counseling, which helps me bring a balanced approach to outpatient care. Whether you're navigating a new or existing health condition, building healthier habits, or simply trying to understand what your body needs, I'm here to help. My goal is to provide support, clarity, and practical steps that fit your life.

Approach to care

I believe that someone's nutritional needs are just unique as they are. I understand that what works for one person may not work for someone else. That is why I focus on practical, sustainable strategies that best fit YOUR life. I find meeting you where you are is the best way to help build confidence with food.

Your first session with Owen

Our first session is all about getting to know each other. We’ll spend time talking through your goals, your day-to-day routines, and anything that’s been stressing or confusing when it comes to food. I’ll walk you through the process step-by-step and answer all your questions. By the end, you’ll leave with a clear direction and a couple of simple, achievable goals to help you get started!

Education

I have my BS in Nutrition and Food Science - Dietetics and MPS in Leadership in Nutrition from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). I completed Dietetic Internship with NutraCo.

Hobbies

I love reading, TV shows/moves, playing tennis, and being outside!
