About Paige
Paige is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Nutrition and Wellness Coach and Certified Personal Trainer. She has been a dietitian for 8 years. After having her own struggles and confusion around nutrition and health, she became interested in the field. She works within three areas of practice, typically with girls and women age 15+. One of those areas includes helping women struggling with things such as emotional eating, stress eating, mindless eating, binges and overeating. The second includes food sensitivity blood testing for conditions such as IBS, migraines and eczema. The third and final area is sports nutrition, and helping with how to best fuel for activity/exercise.
Approach to care
Paige's approach is holistic and functional. She wants to get to the root of what is going on, and work to truly fix things for good. It's very important to her to help people improve their relationship with food, feel better inside and out, and understand how to appropriately fuel their bodies long-term. Her approach is centered around addressing habits, priorities and lifestyle change. This may also include techniques and discussion around mindfulness, mindful eating and lifestyle design. Her approach does NOT focus on weight related goals, calorie counting, or weighing of food or self, and does not align well with those types of goals/approaches.
Your first session with Paige
You're going to be asked a lot of questions. It's important to understand what's going on, what you've tried and where you want to go. That will likely take the whole first session, and maybe into the second session. After that, we'll start taking action.
