About Pamela
Nutrition has always been where science meets everyday life for me. With a master's degree in nutrition science from UNLV and over two years practicing as an RDN in clinical and research settings, I combine practical hospital experience with academic training to help people make sustainable changes. Before I became a Dietitian, I worked as a personal trainer/yoga instructor for over 8 years helping others improve their lifestyle. I'm passionate about helping others improve their lives through nutrition, and when I'm not working, you'll often find me on a yoga mat, kayaking with my little adventure pup, or hiking and camping with friends. I enjoy translating evidence into achievable steps that fit your real life.
Approach to care
Evidence guides the choices I make in practice, and people remain at the center of those choices. I use an Intuitive Eating approach to focus on behaviors, not body numbers, and we work together to build sustainable habits rather than quick fixes. Sessions are warm and judgment-free, but also direct and action-oriented, so you'll leave with clear, practical steps. I prioritize education, explaining the science behind recommendations so you feel confident making decisions that fit your life and values.
Your first session with Pamela
During that initial visit we'll take a careful look at your medical history and any lab work you have, so nothing important is missed. We'll talk about what's realistic for you right now and co-create one or two short-term goals to get started. This is a low-pressure, nonjudgmental conversation, so you don't need all the answers beforehand. Together we'll map out clear next steps and a plan that feels manageable and sustainable.
