About Paritta

I am a dedicated dietitian with a strong passion for helping people become healthier versions of themselves. I became a dietitian because I’ve always wanted to help make a positive impact on an individual’s life, and I wanted to do that by using the power of food and nutrition. I have over 6 years of experience as a Clinical Registered Dietitian working in a variety of different settings including acute care hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, nursing homes, outpatient clinics, and weight loss programs. My diverse education and training allows me to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy for individuals with a wide range of health concerns such as high cholesterol, hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, stroke, etc.. I aim to help guide individuals in the right direction so that they can succeed in reaching their health goals.

Approach to care

Food is a universal language that connects us to how we live and function on a daily basis. I tailor my approach to each individual based on their personal lifestyle and what their unique wants/needs are. I especially love incorporating an individual’s cultural foods into their nutrition plan so that things are more realistic and sustainable in their everyday lives. I want to create a safe and judgement-free space where we can have open discussions and collaborate effectively to achieve your goals one step at a time.

Your first session with Paritta

During our first session, we will spend some time getting to know each other. It’s important for me to understand what your interests/preferences are, what your normal routine is like, any past experiences, and your overall lifestyle so that we can work together to achieve your goals. We will explore what matters most to you and what you hope to gain from working with a dietitian. I want to ensure that you are comfortable and confident with sharing your nutrition concerns with me in order to develop a personalized plan to start working towards your health goals. I would be truly honored if you allow me to help you navigate through this new health journey!
