About Parmida
Parmida is a master’s-level registered dietitian with experience at the Texas Medical Center, the largest medical center in the country, where she developed a deep appreciation for the power of nutrition in supporting long-term health. She believes meaningful change doesn’t come from quick fixes, but from understanding you, your lifestyle, your goals, and what truly works in real life. With a master’s degree in Nutrition and Metabolism, she has a strong interest in understanding the many factors that influence metabolism and overall health. Her expertise includes weight loss; cholesterol, triglyceride, and glucose management; disease prevention (including cancer, pre-diabetes/diabetes, liver, kidney, and heart disease); healing one’s relationship with food; and research-backed guidance on metabolism, macro- and micronutrients, antioxidants and inflammation, and safe supplement use. If you value understanding the “why” behind your nutrition plan, Parmida is the dietitian for you.
Approach to care
Parmida's approach to care is getting to the root cause of your health concerns. By identifying and addressing the underlying causes—such as nutrient deficiencies, gut imbalances, metabolic dysfunction, chronic stress, or lifestyle factors—you create the opportunity for true, lasting healing. This approach allows the body to function as it was designed to, rather than constantly managing symptoms with short-term solutions.
Your first session with Parmida
In your first session, you can expect a welcoming and informative experience designed to kickstart your journey toward better health through nutrition. This collaborative session gives you the opportunity to share your medical history, review supplements and lab work, and discuss your current gut health. We’ll also take a closer look at factors that influence your metabolism, including exercise, sleep, stress, hydration, and daily habits. If needed, we’ll explore your relationship with food and identify any barriers to making lasting changes. The session concludes with setting achievable goals, creating a realistic plan and schedule, and providing you with the tools and guidance you need for long-term success. My patients leave this first session not just informed—but empowered, motivated, and ready to take meaningful action.
