About Parmida
Parmida is a master's level registered dietitian who has gained valuable experience working at the largest medical center in the country, the Texas Medical Center, deepening her understanding of nutrition's role in wellness. Her mission is empowering individuals with knowledge for lasting, positive change instead of a quick fix. Her expertise includes weight loss, cholesterol, triglyceride and glucose management, disease (cancer, pre-diabetes/diabetes, liver disease, kidney disease, and heart disease) prevention, healing relationship with food, research-based conversations about macronutrients, micronutrients, metabolism and antioxidants, and safe supplement recommendations.
Approach to care
Parmida's approach to care is rooted in empathy, education, and empowerment. She believes in treating each individual she works with as a unique and whole person, considering not only their nutritional needs but also their personal preferences, lifestyle, and goals.
Your first session with Parmida
In your first session, you'll find a welcoming and informative experience. It's designed to kickstart a successful journey to better health through nutrition. This collaborative session lets you share your medical history, supplement review, lab work review, and discuss your current gut health. We will also take a closer look at your current lifestyle, and physical activity, unpack your relationship with food, and discuss any barriers to change. We will finally set achievable goals, create a realistic schedule, and receive the tools you need for success.
