About Patricia

Hi there! I'm Patti and I've been a registered dietitian since 2017 with experience in a variety of fields, including psychiatric care, clinical (inpatient hospital setting), women's health, and pediatrics. Each step in my career has taught me how to be a better dietitian through learning better communication skills, increasing my knowledge about different disease states and nutrition issues, and learning how best to help patients reach their personal goals. I love working with patients on a variety of different concerns as I love to push myself and always learn about new things, however, I mostly practice in women's health and pediatrics.

Approach to care

When working with patients, I want to meet them where they are at, whether that means they are ready for big changes or small changes. I want to make sure that whoever I'm working with is a big part of the decision making for goal setting and how to reach those goals. It's important to make sure that changes are sustainable and lead to lifelong health and not just a quick fix. I love to incorporate integrative and functional nutrition and practices into my approach as much as I can.

Your first session with Patricia

In a first session with me, I will spend a lot of time getting to know you and your history along with what your current struggles are. We will cover medical history, pertinent labs, eating patterns, current exercise/physical activity, and what your specific goals are and how we are going to reach them.

I love to read. I don't have a preferred genre and will read pretty much anything! My family and I love going to Clemson sporting events whenever we can. In my downtime, you can typically find me outside with my toddler, baby and 3 dogs soaking up the sunshine as often as possible.
