About Patricia

Hi all! I'm Patricia, a registered dietitian based in New Jersey. I have been a dietitian since 2020 and have worked in multiple healthcare settings. I started my career as a sports nutrition intern for the United States Olympic Rowing team and most recently worked for a local acute care hospital in my area. I like to say I've worked with everybody; weight management, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, dialysis, sports nutrition, bariatric surgery, oncology. You name it, I've been there!

Approach to care

I prefer to take a non-diet, add-on approach meaning, exploring where we can add nutrients, nutrition-related behaviors and foods into your lifestyle. Through my dietitian experiences and personal travels, I have had the opportunity to learn so much about not only the nutrition from food, but the joy and memories it brings to people. It is disheartening to see the spread of misinformation and fear around food online; this can make it feel overwhelming and daunting to implement healthy foods and eating habits in the long run.

Your first session with Patricia

I'd like to get to know your goals and what you expect from me as a dietitian! We will review your current diet and nutrition, as well as feelings around food. I will also lay out a general roadmap, as to how we will work together to meet your nutrition-related goals. Change does not happen overnight! I also hope to review nutrition strategies for when challenges or changes in your routine might arise
