About Patricia
Patricia is a Registered Dietitian with over 20 years of experience in the field of nutrition and wellness. With a Master's degree in Nutrition from Tufts University, she specializes in helping clients utilize nutrition as a cornerstone for healthier living.
Approach to care
After listening to clients relive their history with food and weight management, Pat takes a back to basics approach to attain a more sustainable life style. Working with everyone's individual situation, she looks to remove the emphasis on "counting calories" and "good' and "bad" foods to develop a consistent eating pattern focused on limiting ultra- processed foods and returning to purchasing and cooking whole foods. Even with her extensive experience assisting clients taking Anti Obesity Medications, like Wegovy and Zepbound, it still matters what is on your plate.
Your first session with Patricia
Lasting change needs to be self-directed. Time is spent during the first session listening to the client's issues, challenges, and desired outcome with the goal of developing a foundational, workable nutrition plan. Work schedule, family commitments, time available for food shopping and prep as well motivation for making changes are covered with the understanding that not everything needs to be addressed at once.
