About Patricia
Utilizing a diverse clinical background in medical nutrition therapy and counseling experience to improve the health and well-being of my clients is my passion. My nutrition care experience includes working with various chronic conditions including diabetes (Certified Diabetes Education and Care Specialist), cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, weight management counseling, cancer treatment (Chemotherapy/Radiation/Survivorship), and pre and post solid organ transplant (Kidney/Liver/Heart). I am also equipped to provide enteral nutrition support recommendations to those requiring alternate routes of nourishment (Certified Nutrition Support Clinician).
Approach to care
I am committed to collaborating with you to provide high-quality, individualized care. My approach focuses on educating clients to make nutritional choices and empowering them to nourish their bodies the best they can. I know each client is unique and want to incorporate their diverse preferences and priorities into our education, counseling, and planning to set goals which are tailored to their needs.
Your first session with Patricia
During the first session, I think it's important we begin by getting to know each other. By discussing your daily life, current nutrition practices, and overall expectations - we can set the foundation for engaging, effective education and goal planning.
