About Patricia
I have over 20 years of experience in various sectors of nutrition, research, and health promotion. I have worked in private practice as well as on various programs in North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee to improve opportunities for everyone to have better health. I was an advisor at CDC for a nationwide obesity program looking at environmental factors that affected our food choices. I am a certified yoga teacher and love that opportunity to bring a healthy movement activity to everyone!
Approach to care
I understand the influences of our social norms and the environment we live in on what we eat. I work with clients to see how we can create more opportunities to improve their nutrition, to increase physical activity on any level, in order to have a healthier lifestyle.
Your first session with Patricia
We will explore together your motivation for working on being healthier, to determine where the best changes can be made so that you can reach your goals to a healthier life. I'll work with you to learn your likes, dislikes (not everyone likes broccoli!) and how we can create a plan that works for you.
