I’m Payton, a registered dietitian who is passionate about helping people build sustainable, healthy relationships with food! I look forward to guiding you through your journey and taking the time to listen, understand, support your goals and challenges to build a plan that fits your lifestyle. Whether you’re navigating a medical condition or looking to feel your best, I’m here to support you every step of the way!
Approach to care
I believe in a collaborative experience working together to personalize a plan that will both help you reach your goals while still achieving enjoyment and quality of life. I focus on providing a space without judgment to collaborate with my clients. In a world of so much conflicting information surrounding food & nutrition, I am committed to helping guide you through your journey and make informed choices using evidence-based practices. I believe that practicing balanced nutrition and mindful eating shouldn’t be stressful! I am proficient in selecting attractive substitutions for different foods that allow you to enjoy delicious meals without feeling guilt and still abiding by dietary needs to reach your goals.
Your first session with Payton
Your first session is exclusively for me to learn about you! This is your opportunity to share your goals, lifestyle, eating habits, medical history, and talk through any challenges you may currently be facing. You should expect a casual, supportive conversation without pressure, judgment, or guilt. Don’t feel like you have to prepare for your first session, although feel free to share recent lab work, medications, or a food diary if you have one. Your first session will last around 60 minutes, and you’ll be able to schedule follow-up sessions for ongoing accountability, support and making adjustments as needed.

Hobbies
My hobbies include: Cooking - I’m an enthusiastic home chef, constantly experimenting with flavors and creating delicious, nourishing meals for family and friends. Travel - I’m always eager to explore new destinations and especially love taking long road trips with my family. Mom Duties - I’m currently immersed in an intensive first-time parenting duty with my very energetic son and am working on mastering the art of toddler negotiation! Staying Active - I love staying active and enjoy taking long walks around my neighborhood. Netflix Time - I value unwinding with a documentary or any show that I’m binge-watching after a long day - this time helps me recharge.
