About Peggy
Hi! My name is Peggy and I have been a Registered Dietitian and Certified Lactation Counselor for over 18 years. I specialize in maternal and child nutrition and have an interest in gestational diabetes and food allergies. My goal is to help patients have more energy, feel better and have a better quality of life.
Approach to care
I believe in taking small steps of change because habits are difficult to create overnight. Together we will explore how you can make a small change in your eating and exercise to create habits that last a lifetime. Food has to be enjoyable for you. I believe in eating all your favorite foods in moderation. Daily physical activity is an integral part of your health. I believe in any form of exercise and it can be done in small sections throughout the day. Let’s find how you can incorporate 3 sections of 10 minutes each into your daily routine. I hope to be the person to keep you accountable so you can meet your weekly health goals.
Your first session with Peggy
During your first session, I hope to learn more about you and your lifestyle, including your daily routines and what you like to do for fun. We will discuss what you eat in a typical day and anything that is causing discomfort or stress. Be prepared to set a SMART goal to work on each week!
