About Ping
Hi, I'm Ping. I bring 15 years as a Registered Dietitian, backed by an MS in Nutritional Sciences from LSU, and I work as a partner in your health journey. My experience spans clinical and hospital settings, community health, and an integrated healthcare model for an insurance company. I carry the credentials RD and LD, and I stay current with evidence-based practices to support lasting change. I believe food is personal and powerful, and I aim to meet you where you are with warmth, respect, and a plan that fits your life. When we work together, we focus on real-world, sustainable steps.
Approach to care
Guided by current science, I offer care that is evidence-based and holistic. I listen first, then partner with you to set actionable steps that fit your daily routine. I practice with empathy and warmth, creating a judgment-free space where you feel seen and supported. My approach embraces Health At Every Size and a weight-neutral mindset, focusing on habits and well being rather than a number on a scale. I teach, coach, and adjust as we go, to build durable changes you can sustain long term.
Your first session with Ping
Our first appointment is all about you. We'll review your medical history and labs, discuss your goals, and note any barriers you experience. You don't need to have it all figured out yet. We'll talk about your lifestyle, preferences, and what success looks like for you in the short term. Together we'll establish one or two clear goals for the coming weeks and outline practical steps to start. The space is collaborative, supportive, and free of judgment.
