About Rachael
As a dedicated and experienced dietitian with 2.5 years of clinical care experience, I specialize in providing personalized nutritional management to help patients achieve their health goals. My areas of expertise include diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, neurological conditions, weight management (both loss and gain), cancer nutrition, and promoting general healthy eating habits. Through compassionate care and evidence-based practices, I empower individuals to make sustainable dietary changes that support their long-term well-being and improve their quality of life.
Approach to care
My approach to care is holistic and individualized, recognizing that each personâs health journey is unique. I believe in meeting patients where they are, providing culturally competent care, and collaborating to create personalized nutrition plans that align with their specific needs and preferences. As a weight-neutral dietitian, I focus on promoting health through sustainable, small adjustments to diet and lifestyle, rather than solely focusing on weight. My goal is to empower patients to make lasting changes that support their overall well-being, fostering long-term health goals in a compassionate, non-judgmental environment.
Your first session with Rachael
In our first session, you can expect a warm and welcoming environment where weâll take time to get to know each other. Iâll ask about your lifestyle, hobbies, medical history, and dietary habits, but youâll do most of the talking as I sit back and listen. This session is all about understanding youâyour unique needs, challenges, and goals. Together, weâll identify 2-3 key objectives youâd like to work on during our time together. At the end of our session, Iâll provide you with 2-3 small, manageable action items to focus on for the week ahead, along with personalized educational materials to support your progress.
