About Rachael
Rachael, is a registered dietitian with a concentration in womenâs health and intuitive eating. Her work predominantly supports individuals through pregnancy, postpartum, and lactation but she is also versed in providing guidance in areas such as PCOS, endometriosis, gestational diabetes, infant food allergies, and other transitions where nourishment, body trust, and compassion matter most. Rachael is currently working on becoming a Certified lactation consultant. In addition to her clinical training of over 7 years, Rachael brings personal insight from her own recent pregnancy, postpartum, and lactation journey. Experiencing the physical, emotional, and logistical realities of feeding an infant firsthand deepened her appreciation for how complexâand personalâthese seasons can be. This lived experience shapes her approach by reinforcing the importance of flexibility, informed choice, and meeting each family where they are.
Approach to care
Her practice is rooted in intuitive eating and a non-diet framework, focusing on health behaviors, nourishment, and well-being rather than weight or restriction. She works collaboratively with clients to help them move away from restriction and body judgment towards a more peaceful relationship with food. Rachael wants to help women trust their bodies, and feel confident in feeding themselves and their families. Her goal is to empower clients with practical tools, education, and support so they can care for themselves with compassion and confidence. She values informed choice and meets each client where they are, recognizing the physical, emotional, and cultural factors that influence feeding and health. Rachael is committed to inclusive, trauma-informed, and body-respectful care for people of all sizes and backgrounds. Her goal is to provide thoughtful guidance and steady support so clients feel less alone and more confident during some of lifeâs most vulnerable transitions.
Your first session with Rachael
In an initial visit, Rachael dedicates time to conduct a thorough nutrition assessment which includes learning about your medical history, nutrition and lifestyle habits, food preferences, current areas of concern, and nutrition/feeding related goals. Rachael is committed to gaining a better understanding of who you are, where youâve been, where you are, and where you want to be. She enjoys the conversations that make up each session, and she welcomes your authentic self as you share your story with her. You will be able to ask questions and define what a successful counseling experience looks like. At the end of the first visit, youâll leave with at least one actionable step to help move you closer to your goals.
