About Rachel
Hi there! My name is Rachel and I am New York City–based registered dietitian with a passion for pediatric care and supporting children and young adults as they grow and thrive. My journey in nutrition has taken me across the country, shaping both my clinical expertise and community-based approach. During our sessions, we’ll talk through your goals and find realistic ways to incorporate them into your or your child’s lifestyle, focusing on making manageable, sustainable changes that last. Whether you’re navigating picky eating, starting solids, building confidence in the kitchen, managing food allergies, adjusting tube feeding, or understanding lab results, I’m here to help!
Approach to care
My approach to care is grounded in evidence-based practice, recognizing that nutrition is an ever-evolving science and that there is no one-size-fits-all solution. I work closely with families to create personalized guidelines that fit your child’s needs and your family’s lifestyle. I want you to feel safe and confident asking questions and exploring different strategies to find what works best for you. I believe that small, sustainable changes can have a big impact, and I’m here to help you navigate the wealth of nutrition information with clarity and confidence.
Your first session with Rachel
During our first session, we’ll review nutrition history and current relationship with food, discuss your goals, and determine the best approach to achieving them based on your learning and communication style. I’ll also be happy to learn about you and your child’s hobbies and daily routines so we can create goals that fit naturally into your lifestyle.
