About Rachel

Rachel Caine is a registered dietitian nutritionist, runner, and mom, who loves to stay active in her community. She received her master's degree in Nutrition and Health Promotion from Simmons University and did her dietetic internship at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, MA. Rachel is an empathetic, supportive, trauma-informed dietitian who takes an intuitive eating, meet-the-patient-where-they're-at approach. Her greatest joy is watching her clients learn to love food and trust their bodies again. She is firmly anti-diet (but not anti-dietER or anti-weight loss) and believes all bodies are beautiful, healthy bodies when we can eat and move with intentionality and trust in ourselves.

Approach to care

I take a patient-centered approach to care that is very individualized and tailored to where each patient is currently at on their health and wellness journey. Newly diagnosed with something and need some extra support? Been dealing with a diagnosis for a long time and need a new approach? Been battling against diet culture your whole life and ready for a change? Just started on a weight-loss medication and don't know how to nourish yourself best? Let's talk about it!

Your first session with Rachel

Our first session will be a full health intake so I can really get to know you, your lifestyle, your habits, you/your family health history, and your relationship with food, physical activity, and your body. I like to meet my clients where they are at and create individualized health plans for each of them based on this information - I want to get to know you and what motivates you and what's holding you back from your health goals so I can support you best!
