About Rachel
Hi, I'm Rachel. I bring 16 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian + Functional Nutrition Practitioner. I have been in private practice for most of my career, specializing in gut health, women's health, weight management, insulin resistance, energy, sports nutrition and functional nutrition for full-body wellness. I also hold a CPT certification, so I understand how to properly recommend movement for various goals. Outside of work, I love lifting, Pilates, jogging, beach days, walks with my dogs, girl mom-ing, painting, and exploring new foods as a foodie. I believe food should be enjoyed, not feared. My goal is to help you create a diet and lifestyle that allows you to thrive and feel your best both inside and out.
Approach to care
I practice with empathy, really getting to know you, your health history, dietary preferences, and daily habits, I will meet you where you are at, as an individual. I ground recommendations in current research and proven protocols, while staying nonjudgmental, and patient-focused. We'll work together to develop meals, snacks and day-to-day actions that fit your life. I utilize a holistic view of health that doesn't only focus on food but also includes sleep, stress, and movement. Education is central, so you leave each visit with clarity about why we are choosing certain foods and strategies. Health and nutrition can feel really confusing, but I will take away the overwhelm and provide you with the structure and support you need.
Your first session with Rachel
Our first session is all about you. We'll review your medical history, lab work, and biometrics, and take a deep dive into your relationship with food as well as YOUR goals! We'll establish short-term goals and start crafting a personalized plan that feels doable. This is a low-pressure, judgment-free space where we talk through what has and hasn't worked before. You don't need to have it all figured out yet; together we'll set a clear path forward and you'll leave with tangible next steps. This is not cookie cutter, it's completely individualized for you.
