About Rachel
Hi, I’m Rachel. I’m a Registered Dietitian with 5 years of experience guiding clients across corporate wellness, private practice, and clinical settings. I earned my Bachelor’s in Dietetics: Food and Nutrition from New Mexico State University and completed my Dietetic Internship at Iowa State University. I carry the credentials RDN, LD, and RD, and I value bringing my passion for practical, sustainable nutrition to every visit. When I’m not working, you’ll find me in the garden, kayaking, or playing with my son and nieces and nephew. I’m here to help you feel at home in your health journey.
Approach to care
My care philosophy blends evidence based practice with warmth and clear action. We’ll ground our plan in current research and proven protocols, while I stay curious and nonjudgmental about your lived experience. I take a direct and action oriented approach, offering practical steps you can actually fit into daily life. I practice a holistic, weight neutral perspective inspired by HAES, focusing on sustainable behaviors rather than dieting culture. Together we’ll build knowledge, skills, and confidence for lasting change that fits you and your values.
Your first session with Rachel
Our first session is all about you. Think of it as a conversation, not an evaluation. We’ll review your medical history, your lab work or biometrics, and we’ll establish short-term goals together. You don’t need to have it all figured out yet; we’ll explore what’s worked, what hasn’t, and what you want to accomplish next. The space is warm, collaborative, and non judgmental, designed to set you at ease as we map a practical path toward lasting, meaningful change.
