About Rachel
Hi, I'm Rachel, a dedicated Registered Dietitian (RD) and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) with a Master’s degree (MS) in Nutrition and Dietetics. My career has allowed me to work across a wide range of settings, providing evidence-based, personalized, and culturally competent nutrition care. I have experience working in clinical, rehabilitation, and outpatient settings, as well as high school, collegiate and professional athletes. This diverse experience has given me a comprehensive understanding of nutrition and its impact on individuals across the lifespan and activity levels. Through medical nutrition therapy and performance-focused nutrition strategies, I help individuals optimize health, support gastrointestinal wellness, and achieve their personal goals.
Approach to care
I believe nutrition is the foundation of a better life, it fuels your body, supports your health, and helps build the energy and confidence needed to feel your best. My approach to care is client centered, evidence based, and collaborative, with a focus on sustainable health behaviors. I strive to create a non judgmental, supportive environment where you feel comfortable discussing your eating habits, health concerns, and challenges. Care is individualized, recognizing that nutrition is influenced by medical history, culture, access to food, lifestyle, preferences, and your relationship with food. I meet you where you are and work with you to develop realistic strategies that fit your daily life. Education is central to my approach, helping you understand the “why” behind recommendations so you can make informed choices independently.
Your first session with Rachel
In your first session with me (usually about 60 minutes and done virtually), you can expect a relaxed, judgment free conversation focused on getting to know you, your health history, eating habits, lifestyle, concerns, and goals. I will ask detailed questions to really understand you, what brought you to me, your concerns, and what you hope to accomplish; understand your routine and challenges, provide personalized nutrition education, and work with you to set a few realistic, achievable goals to try before your next visit, along with a plan for follow-up support.
